Position Overview:
The Transportation Driver Training Supervisor will be a member of the transportation department and will work closely with Transportation personnel and Human Resources. This position will be responsible for training newly hired and existing CDL-A drivers and others as needed. This position provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to a key function at Reinhart and grow within our organization.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing training to newly hired and existing CDL-A drivers on proper vehicle operating procedures, safety, and compliance using both in-cab, on-the-job training and classroom approaches. This includes possessing the skills to perform the functions listed below.
- Self motivated individual with great initiative.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal staff.
- Ability to make presentations in front of groups.

- Must present a highly professional image and attitude.
- Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
- Ensure employees are following all safety policies and procedures in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Strong work ethic.
- Act as a mentor for all department employees and foster a positive work environment.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School degree or GED Required, college degree preferred
- Valid Class CDL-A with strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Minimum 1 year driving experience with CDL-A
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites
