Tanker mobile truck drivers at Schneider earn up to $65,000 per year* and get home every three weeks. In this mobile CDL driving position, Schneider will pay to fly you from your home location to various locations across the country, where you’ll safely transfer bulk liquid chemicals — two-thirds of which are non-hazardous — then we’ll pay to fly you back for extended home time.

Truck Driver Pay & Benefits
Full-time CDL truck drivers are eligible for:
- Up to $65,000 per year*
- Up to $6,000 tuition reimbursement available for qualified drivers
- Mileage and accessorial pay plus potential $0.02/mile performance bonuses
- Detention pay after the second hour
- Paid orientation
- Hazmat endorsement reimbursed with receipt
- Medical, dental and vision insurance plus flexible spending options

- Mobile communications platform - The latest in-truck technology with paperless logging, GPS navigation, web browsing, text-to-voice features, a color touch screen and a pull-out keypad

- Military Apprenticeship Program - U.S. military veterans, Guard members and Reservists may be eligible to earn an additional educational benefit check from the VA (up to $1,266 per month)

Truck Driver Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
- Live within 100 miles of Bangor, ME or Portland, ME
- Tanker endorsements required at time of hire as a CDL driver
- Hazmat endorsement required at time of hire as a CDL driver
- TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Card) required after hire
- Must be willing to fly out of Bangor, ME or Portland, ME
