The Town of North Reading is seeking applicants for the position of Special Heavy Equipment Operator the following is a list of requirements.
– Must have a CDL Class B license and a 2B hydraulic license and a 2A-1C
– Must have medium & heavy vehicle operations and maintenance skills
– Must have heavy & specialized equipment operations and maintenance skills
– Must be able to lift heavy recyclable and highway material
– Must be able to keep accurate records and maintain good public relations
– Must be skilled in winter snow & ice equipment operations
– Must meet physical and medical standards in this line of work
– Position is classified as an Essential Employee and employee must be able to work long hours when necessary in all aspects of Public Works operations
– Hours of the position is 7:00 AM -3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
– Starting pay $21.83
