Maintenance Craftsman

The Town of North Reading is seeking applicants for the position of Maintenance Craftsman; the following is a list of requirements:

·         Preferred -  CDL Class B license and Hydraulic license 2A/1C

·         Must have medium and heavy equipment operations and maintenance skills

·         Must be able to lift heavy materials and meet physical and medical standards for this line of work

·         Must be able to keep accurate records and maintain good public relations

·         Minimum of five (5) years experience in landscape construction/maintenance

·         Must be skilled in winter snow and ice equipment operations

·         Position is classified as an Essential Employee and must be able to work long hours when necessary in all aspects of Public Works operations.

·         Hours of position is 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

·         Starting pay  $20.58
