Established Asphalt Company looking for CDL Class A or B driver
We are a family owned asphalt company located in Waltham, MA, 90% of jobs are in Newton, MA. Position is for a full time driver/laborer.
All of our positions involve manual labor, this is not just a driver position. Our company works 45-60 hours a week, with lots of overtime in the spring and fall months (usually 6 days a week).
Along with asphalt paving, we have a daily landscape maintenance crew, sealcoating and we do a lot of masonry construction. In the slow summer months employee’s sometimes do trimming, landscaping. All men on the asphalt crew are expected to work while on site, whether this is raking asphalt, wheel barrowing, etc.
We are an established company started over 30 years ago. Many of our employees have been here 10+ years. We value loyalty, trust and dependability above all else. We want our employees to stay a long time. This is an opportunity to learn many different trades.
Requirements:
- CDL Class A or B
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Cori/background check
- Drug test
Not required but preferred:
- Hoisting license 1A/2C
- Knowledge of asphalt paving industry, sealcoating
- Familiarity with heavy machinery, bobcats, backhoes, excavators, rollers, etc.
$22.00 per hour.
