Pickup and Delivery Driver

Old Dominion

Shift: Monday - Friday 

Pay range: $33 - $37.68 /hr

Eligibility Requirements

• 22 years of age 
• Must have 12 months previous tractor-trailer driving experience AND/OR be a graduate of a State Certified Licensed and Safety Department approved driving school, AND/OR have a satisfactorily completed the Old Dominion Truck Driver Training School. 
• Must have a valid commercial drivers license with hazmat, doubles, and tanker endorsements. 

Essential Functions / Physical Requirements 

• Able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 11 hours .
• Able to shift manual transmission and operate foot pedals.
• Able to perform frequest squatting to handle, position, and secure freight.
• Be available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. 
• Able to perform frequent crouching to hand, position, and secure freight. 
• Able to enter and exit the vehicle's cab as many as 45 times a day or more.
