location: millbury, ma
schedule: full-time, daytime and overnight shifts available
pay range: $28 - $35/hour based on experience
mission of the role: the cdl-a driver supports all movement of downeast products from the cider house to the offsite warehouse and ensures raw materials reach our just-in-time manufacturing facility. you are the literal engine that keeps our supply chain moving.
what you’ll do:
safely transport product from east boston to offsite facility and vice-versa (low touch/dock to dock, mostly palletized loads).
transport raw materials from local suppliers to downeast locations.
execute drop and hook trailers at the offsite warehouse.
maintain daily pre- and post-trip logs + time sheets for dot compliance.
understand and adhere to dot regulations as they pertain to alcohol beverages and hours of service.
provide coverage for both daytime and overnight transportation needs as required.
who you are: you are a disciplined professional who puts safety first. you strictly adhere to dot regulations and company sops, taking full ownership of your rig and your cargo. when delays occur or road conditions change, you communicate early and support your team to ensure every delivery stays on track. you are a reliable professional who operates with integrity and the determination needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
what you have:
valid cdl-a and at least 6 months of experience.
clean mvr with no drug or alcohol violations in the last 20 years.
non-expired medical card and ability to pass dot physicals.
ability to lift 50 lbs.
flexibility to take on day or night shifts as needed.
bonus points: forklift experience.
