Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Commercial Driver will operate an Open Flatbed-Step Deck and or Box Truck.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to promote a professional image.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks is preferred.
- Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight.
- Familiarity with route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures including load securement practices.

Pay: $1,029.06 - $1,875.00 per week
