Job Description: As a Tow Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. You will respond to service calls from customers and law enforcement agencies ensuring the timely and secure transportation of their vehicles. Additionally, you will assist in jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout. Responsibilities: ● Safely operate a tow truck and follow all traffic laws and company policies. ● Respond to service calls promptly and maintain effective communication with dispatch. ● Load, secure, and transport vehicles to the designated location. ● Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the tow truck is in good working condition. ● Provide services including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts. ● Offer exceptional customer service by demonstrating professionalism and empathy. ● Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. ● Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the truck and at the company facilities. ● Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment. Requirements: ● Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record. ● Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role is preferred. ● Strong knowledge of towing and recovery techniques. ● Required to pass background check. ● Ability to operate various tow trucks and equipment, such as flatbeds and wheel-lifts. ● Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations. ● Outstanding customer service and communication skills. ● Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. ● Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions. ● Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
