Job Title: Fixed Route Bus Driver
Summary: The Fixed Route Vehicle Operator is responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle. The primary objective of the Fixed Route Vehicle Operator is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation.
Pay Rate: $15.39/hour
Qualifications:
- Must adhere to our Corporate Minimum Hiring Standards
- Must complete Background Check, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Records Check
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class C; CDL Class A & B also accepted
- Passenger Endorsement
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must obtain Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities Card
- Must have reliable transportation
Training:
- 2 - 3 week training period including classroom and behind the wheel
- Paid training (open to recent graduates)
- Schedule determined during training
Schedule:
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 5:30AM – 9:00PM; Saturday, 8:00AM – 6:00PM
- Must have open availability
- Part-time employees will receive 25-30 hours/week (more available if desired to pick up extra shifts)
- Potential to move into full time hours
