CLASS A & B DRIVERS WANTED

CALLICO DISTRIBUTORS

Job Title: Class A & B Truck Driver

Summary : To operate a tractor trailer or straight job and deliver goods to customers.

SIGNING BONUS IS $3000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

>Makes daily deliveries to customers.

>Presents product to customers for count and verification.

>Assists customers with identifying products on pallets.

>Breaksdown product on pallets as required by Callico or its customers.

>Makes corrections on delivery ticket for overshipped or short shipped product.

>Returns damaged or refused product and makes notation on the delivery ticket.

>Picks up return product from customers with proper paperwork.

>Performs daily pretrip truck inspection and files proper documentation listing any problem areas.

>Collects pallets 1 for 1 from customers when making deliveries

>Sweeps out truck body or trailer as needed.

>Organizes and turns in all delivery tickets and any other necessary paperwork at the end of each run.

>Must pass substance abuse screening and is subject to random substance abuse screening under company policy.

Education and/or Experience                                                   

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                                

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability                                             

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
