PLUMBERS' SUPPLY COMPANY
– Plumbing, Heating & HVAC distributor located in New Bedford, MA seeks a motivated and dependable individual to be part of our staff. Hours for position are from 4:00am – 12:00pm, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
Transport and ensure product gets delivered to branches in a timely manner
Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage
Assist in loading and unloading product
Safely and efficiently handle product
Confirm contents of each shipment load
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
Comply with DOT regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Valid Class A driver’s license required
2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred
Clean driving record with no moving violations (Driving records will be reviewed)
Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
Applicant must be capable of lifting 75 lbs. & lift/push/pull throughout entire
Able to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
