CLASS A DRIVER WANTED

We are a fourth-generation family owned and operated company serving the seafood industry, and we’re proud to be a leading third-party handler of fresh and frozen seafood.
We are looking for a Temporary Class A CDL driver to cover employee leave. Start ASAP until the end of June, with the possibility of extension. Can be TEMP employee or 1099.
We need a driver that is dependable, reliable with a willingness to learn. We will provide 100% on the job training and will teach a new driver everything they will need to know about our industry!
Local, daily driving in all NE states, no stayovers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Warehouse/material handling is required and part of the job
· Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with vendors, customers, peers and fellow employees
· Operates company trucks/vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
· Maintains operative driver’s license with good driving record
· Obeys all local and state traffic laws
· Maintains driver’s vehicle inspection report
· Keeps company trucks/vehicles clean and neat (inside and outside)
· Operates forklift, electric/manual pallet jacks
· Assemble orders from existing inventory
· Load own truck for deliveries
· Order selection, warehouse experience
· Be flexible; able to cover different routes when needed
· Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
· Logbooks if required
