About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and professional CDL-B Driver to join our team at HOP Energy in East Falmouth, MA. This role involves safely operating company vehicles for the delivery of fuel products to commercial and residential clients. Your commitment to safety, customer service, and ability to work efficiently will be key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, local laws, and company policies.
Load and unload fuel products, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of each delivery using the appropriate software and technology, including logs of travel and cargo records.
Develop strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors immediately.
Provide excellent customer service, including addressing any customer inquiries or issues during delivery.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
At least 2 years of experience in commercial driving, preferably in fuel delivery.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Understanding of DOT and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing manual tasks as needed.
Working conditions:
This role requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
The work schedule may involve early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet customer demand.
