H&R Supply is a startup business with a large anchor customer that will serve as the foundation for the company’s growth. H&R Supply is building a fast-paced environment where customer service is the first priority. The founder is well known and respected throughout Massachusetts and beyond in the residential and commercial roofing industry. As a part of our dedicated team, you will be operating Class B straight trucks and flatbeds to deliver world class service and products to our customers.
$24 - $27 an hour - Full-time

In this role, you will or may assist loading materials, pull orders for walk-in customers, operate forklifts, Moffett, and unload/load products onto delivery trucks
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from warehouse, ensure proper receipt, delivery, and working with customers and teammates ensuring branch is operating successfully
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Double checking all outbound loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
- Inspect machinery daily to notify the need for repairs ensuring safe operation.
- Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
- Operate vehicle(s) in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations
- Keep updated records of delivered inventory and activity logs
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Professional Skills
- Proven experience as CDL Class B driver, forklift operator, including the operation of forklifts, and Moffett trucks.
- A valid Massachusetts Hoisting License, and Class B CDL required
- Familiarity with roofing supplies/materials a plus
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs in a warehouse environment
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, moving stock, documenting deliveries, and monitoring inventory
- Familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- High school diploma, a secondary diploma or equivalent preferred
Must Have Experience
- Valid CDL Class B driving license
- A Massachusetts Hoisting License required.
- Experience in roofing/building products or construction contracting industry
- Experience operating Class B straight trucks and flatbeds
- Ability to read and write to record, and maintain daily records
- Great customer service skills, and willingness to learn.
What Will Distinguish You From the Rest
- You are fluent in English, and either Spanish or Portuguese.
- Have prior experience as a CDL Class B and forklift operator
- Experience in roofing/building products
Because of the nature of the role, you will need to assist in warehouse operations as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
