We are looking for several full-time Class A CDL drivers that are hardworking, reliable with a willingness to learn and we will provide 100% on the job training and will teach a new driver everything they will need to know about our industry!
Local, daily driving in all NE states with a one-night stayover on the Southern route, which is on a routing schedule (every other week).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Delivers product accurately and on time
· Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with vendors, customers, peers and fellow employees
· Operates company trucks/vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
· Maintains operative driver’s license with good driving record
· Obeys all local and state traffic laws
· Maintains driver’s vehicle inspection report
· Keeps company trucks/vehicles clean and neat (inside and outside)
· Operates forklift, electric/manual pallet jacks
· Assemble orders from existing inventory
· Load own truck for deliveries
· Order selection, warehouse experience
· Be flexible; able to cover different routes when needed
· Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
A. Education and Experience
- Education: High School or GED
- Experience: 1 year(s) of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL would be preferred
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- Valid CDL License Class A
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check and motor vehicle record review.
