No more then 8 hrs!
Boston based worker owned cooperative seeks responsible professional CDL truck driver 10-40 hours per week, for growing organic waste collection business.

● Job requires up-to-date medical card and references of professional driving experience.
● Our customers include grocery stores, hospitals and universities in the greater Boston area. The right person for this job is ready to work early mornings, perform physical labor such as moving and cleaning equipment.
● Must get along well with team members and customers, have an excellent driving record and temperament for engaging in a diverse workplace.

Hours: 10 plus hours to start, increasing with experience and business growth.
Qualifications:
● Must have a current valid CDL truck driver’s license, good driving record.
● Professional skills - clean personal presentation, must wear uniform and safety equipment provided, reliable attendance is required.
● Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and be consistent in responding to telephone, text and email communications.
● Referrals from previous employers are required.
● Able and willing to do physical labor that includes moving heavy containers, industrial cleaning and working with food waste in varied weather conditions.
● Experience working with community based organizations and/or interest in working in a cooperative business preferred.
● Commitment to participating as part of an inclusive multicultural, multigenerational workplace and to learning new skills.
