CDL Class B and Non-CDL Drivers Wanted- Urgently Hiring! Bourne, MA

SEAFOOD DELIVERY DRIVER - URGENTLY HIRING

CDL CLASS B AND NON-CDL DRIVERS WANTED

Location: Lobster Trap Headquarters and Distribution Center in Bourne, MA

Full-time, available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.

Hours roughly 7am - 4pm

Salary $18 - $24 an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to navigate various routes and areas throughout New England.
  • Drive a regular local delivery route
  • Handle and move large heavy objects
  • Interact with customers and vendors
  • Perform count and quality checks
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness and ability to carry out physical labor and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
  • Ability to load various delivery items onto truck.
  • Knowledgeable of DOT commercial driving rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Good problem-solving skills with willingness to see the daily job through to completion.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with fleet manager and supporting staff.
  • Must be able to accurately complete paperwork.
  • Ideal candidate is self-motivated and high energy with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in the trucking industry
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Class B CDL preferred not required, van routes available
  • Must be reliable and responsible
  • Ability to handle and move large heavy objects
  • Available to work Monday through Saturday (some early morning deliveries may be required)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Professional, adaptable and energetic
  • Knowledge of commercial trucks and safety
  • Familiarity with warehouse environment and logistics (preferred)
