Looking for CDL CLASS A Tractor Trailer Driver
North Attleboro, MA
Perform duties as directed by Manager while operating a tractor trailer dump truck. Employee will transport material to various job sites in a timely and safe manor. Experience driving a dump truck is a plus.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Pre-trip tractor trailer prior to the operation of truck. Check and maintain fluids in the vehicle, grease vehicle and report any defects to Manager
- Work with equipment operators and dispatch in loading material onto trailer
- Must be able to work with customers and take direction to unload the load
- Regularly communicate with dispatch
- Must be willing to shovel and clean as needed
- Report any unsafe conditions to your Manager
- Keep a clean and clear work area free of debris and safe for preforming work
- At all times work in a safe manner
- Must be flexible and willing to do anything else management assigns as tasks
- Must be willing to get MSHA certified
Work Schedules and Hours:
While work schedules and hours may vary somewhat depending on peak seasons. In general, applicable work schedules include Monday - Friday 7a-3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch and Overtime as job dictates. Willingness to work Saturday’s and snow removal is a plus.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
All successful candidates will have passed both a physical examination and drug/alcohol screen. Concrete mixer driver must have a minimum of a valid CDL A driver’s license, complete a drug test and a background check. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
