CDL Class A or B DRIVERS
Residential Subscription Driver.
We are currently offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
We need drivers in our Westborough and Fitchburg locations.
E.L. Harvey & Sons, Inc., a full service waste hauling, transfer, and scrap recycling operation has been an independent, family owned and operated business since 1911. We handle residential, commercial, and construction contracts that include waste disposal, recycling services, secure document shredding, product destruction, food waste and more. No matter the size of a customer’s business, our team can handle all its waste and recycling needs. We currently have over 4,000 commercial clients that range from hospitals and business parks to malls and government agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current CDL operator's license and be at least 18 years old
• Clean driving record
• Current DOT qualifications
• Ability to stoop bend, twist, throw and work in a variety of climates and environmental conditions.
• Experience with automation preferred but not required
• Experience driving from the right preferred but not required
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of vehicle. Report any safely issues.
Other Knowledge and Skills:
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and disposal site.
• Read route sheet and follow map
• Good customer services skills; always acts in a professional and courteous manner towards customers and co-workers, strives to meet and exceed customer expectations;
• Good time management skills; ability to adhere to work schedule and able to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies; promotes the Companies safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.
