Don Martin Corporation is currently interviewing for Class A, and Class B Drivers.

Drivers will operate Triaxle Dump Truck, responsible for hauling asphalt from plant to paving crews.

Work is full time with excellent pay and benefits. Driver will find the company to be employee friendly with family or pet ride along allowed. Driver will work in fleet arrangement following other units from shop to plant to job site.

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate trucks.
  • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
  • Pre-inspect truck.
  • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
  • Load and unload cargo.
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
  • Osha Certification

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

  • Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
  • Hoisting License and Forklift experience preferred
  • Able to pass random drug tests.
  • Clean driving record
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
  • Listening and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL – Class A or Class B
  • Certificate from an accredited CDL school
  • 21 years or older
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
  • N, P, S, T, or X endorsements preferred.
  • At least six months of Driving experience
