Massachusetts Military Support Foundation is looking for a licensed CDL Class A driver who will be responsible for transporting predominately food from vendors and returning product to our warehouses and centers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island with our tractor –trailer and other vehicles in our fleet. Our major warehouse is located in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
You will be responsible for recording inspections before and after a trip and loading and unloading products as needed. You will be required to follow appropriate safety procedures and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. You have to drive safely, obey the traffic laws and respect the rights of other drivers. You should be well aware of other vehicles around you.
Job tasks:
Delivering food and other products to sites across Massachusetts and Rhode Island with our tractor-trailer truck or other trucks in our fleet
Assisting workers in loading and unloading trucks
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle and inspect before and after trips
Drive long distances
Fill up fuel, clean truck and wash windows
Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion
Follow all applicable traffic laws

Being able to read customer orders and follow safety regulations
Education:
Candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education level, and a CDL A license. Must be 21 years of age or older and with a minimum of 2 years on the road experience preferred but not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 per hour
