Northern Pelagic Group, LLC, NORPEL, is a New Bedford, MA based processing company of seafood and meats. We sell into the North American per food manufacturing market as well as an International Market for the seafood items harvested by our own vessel as well as other seafood items processed at our facilities in New Bedford, MA.
We are looking to fill the position of Truck Driver. A Class B Commercial Driving License is required for this position.
This position reports to Director of Operations (DO). Your job will require driving fresh and deozen product between production and cold storage locations, as well as other vendors and partners. Loading and unloading trucks and completing or approving all required documents. Excellent attendance and reliable performance are essential to the job.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Drivers must have a valid Class B CDL for commerce
- Minimum of 1-year driving experience with a Class B CDL.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Candidates must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Be able to keep all documentation in order.
- Deliver the right product to customer accounts, in a professional, safe and timely manner.
