Class A Drivers Wanted - Metro Boston Area

JOB PURPOSE

Drivers drive, control, and maintain trucks equipped with dump body to transport and dump materials needed for assignments in a safe, efficient manner. Drivers will work in a fast-paced, physically-intense environment. Safety is a top priority for Drivers and must have knowledge of safe operation, rules of the road, and abide by DOT safety requirements. Drivers report directly to the Foreman.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Physical Labor at underground utility construction and maintenance projects

·         Transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or bituminous paving materials

·         Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficiencies

·         Completes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defects

·         When not driving, will assist crew as needed

·         Adheres to all DOT safety requirements

·         Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

·         Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A

·         DOT Medical Examiners Certificate

·         OSHA 10
