Class A Drivers Wanted

TMC

·         Largest privately/employee owned, 48 state,  flat bed carrier in United States

·         Primarily a regional fleet with drivers home most every weekend

·         Freight includes: pipe, steel, lumber, aluminum, coils, wallboard, insulation, equipment & machinery

·         2,500 truck fleet is 100% Peterbilt , assigned trucks with drivers taking trucks home on the weekends

·         TMC offers two competitive pay packages:   % of the load or CPM.   98% of drivers choose the % pay

o   % scale goes from 26% - 34% of the gross charge to customer

o   New students start at 26% of the load plus tarping, multiple stop, and NYC  pay. (equivalent to 50 cpm on average)

·         TMC is a performance based company vs a tenure based system.  Fuel, safety, productivity bonuses are built into the pay rate determined on a 30 day basis.  Smart, efficient, safe, and productive drivers can increase their pay on that 30 day basis.  Allowing new, motivated drivers to make as much, if not more than veteran drivers in the industry.

·         1st year average pay with weekly home time was $65,000 in 2019; while significate number of new drivers making in the $70K range, while still maintaining regular home time. Well above the industry $40K year average for new drivers.  OTR drivers make into the $80s and Trainers $80k-$100k,

·         Health, Vision, RX, Dental coverage provided.  Weekly single  premium $37, family premium $140

·         Tuition Reimbursement of $200 per month up to $6,000 with no contracts to sign.

·         Accredited Apprenticeship Program with the Dept of Labor and Veterans Affairs.  24 Months BAH available to eligible Vets utilizing Post 911 Benefits.  Tuition Reimbursement ALSO applies to Vets utilizing benefits to pay for school.

·         Paid Vacation: 1 wk after 1 year, 2 wks after 2 years, 3 wks after 10 years

·         401k matched at 10%

·         Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).  Employees are given stock ownership in TMC on annual basis towards the employees’ retirement. 

·         Paid Training

o   2 wks Orientation in Des Moines Iowa.  Classroom, load securement, road and yard training.  Transportation, hotel, and lunch provided. $600 per week.

o   5 wks Road Training.  In most cases trainees will get weekly home time.  Trainees learn to drive, secure freight, live on the road and how to make money.  Training pay continues at $600 per week.
