Feeney Brothers specializes in underground utility installations for clients such as National Grid, Eversource and Columbia Gas. Duties & Responsibilities

·         Arrive on the job site at or before start time

·         Must conduct a “walk around” inspection of your assigned vehicle on a daily basis

·         Transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock and paving materials from job site to various yard locations

·         Expected to understand the process for loads; full truck in/full truck out

·         Must be knowledgeable and comfortable operating vehicle levers and controls

·         Responsible for maintaining and caring for the assigned vehicle as if it is your own

·         Expected to maintain DOT books and be knowledgeable of all DOT rules

·         Must wear seatbelt while operating vehicle and refrain from cell phone use while on the job/in company vehicle

·         Expected to have geographical knowledge to ensure efficient driving and punctuality while on the job

·         May assist the crew with labor tasks at job site when necessary

·         Expected to take direction from the foreman

·         Required to wear proper PPE at all times

·         Must maintain training requirements and keep up with all operator qualifications (OQ’s)

·         Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Qualifications

·         Valid Commercial Driver’s license (Class A is a plus but we accept Class B)

·         Utility construction experience

·         DOT Medical Examiners Certificate

·         OSHA 10 Certification

·         Must be able to read, comprehend and speak the English language

·         Must possess strong work ethic, be trustworthy, reliable and take initiative

 

Hourly wage for drivers are between $22 - $28
