Vacuum Truck Driver
Compensation: based on experience ($20-$25/hr)

ABC Soils, Inc. has been proudly serving clients in all utility, drilling and construction industries, as well as municipalities, health care and homeowners since 1989. We have a long, diverse client list and work on a wide variety of projects that range from simple utility clearance excavations to very complex underpinning projects. Therefore, we are looking for the best and brightest drivers available.
We currently have an opening for Vacuum Truck Driver based in our Sudbury Office, travelling to Boston, Providence, Hartford, Worcester and Springfield areas as well as southern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. This position entails driving our Vacuum trucks to and from the job sites in a safe and timely manner; keeping accurate logs and other paperwork; digging a hole and disposing of the material on-site or at an off-site location. The successful applicant must maintain a high level of workmanship and be able to work independently along with the ability to understand and follow directions.
Full-time position is year-round.
The successful applicant must:
• Be able to pass Drug Test, Cori and Background checks.
• Have Valid CDL-B license (min). Tanker Endorsement is bonus.
• Have an acceptable driving record. Provide a copy.
• Hoisting license would be helpful but not necessary.
• Construction experience would be helpful but not necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle on a daily basis.
• Have or willing to obtain an OSHA 10 certificate (min). Training will be provided.
In general, the work will be Monday thru Friday and 8-10 hrs per day. There is also some occasional Saturday and/or Sunday work as well as some occasional overnight travel (2 hr drive or greater, one-way) through out the course of the year. Last year there was no overnight travel.
