JOB SUMMARY:
CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting goods from our distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. They are also required to perform Pre/Post trip vehicle inspections, strap loads down and unload products (pipe/loose material) from the truck/trailer to customer facilities. Drivers must follow appropriate safety procedures to transport our product, which can be dangerous if not properly handled and secured. Drivers must also maintain HOS logs, trip reports, and clean and neat delivery paperwork. Lastly, it is essential that drivers have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
•Safely transport product to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner
•Assist in loading and unloading of products
•Maintain driver logs (paper/E-Logs & Trip Reports) and complete pre/post-trip inspections
•Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
•Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
•Submit to Pre-employment and a Random Drug and Alcohol Program
•Follow delivery/pickup instructions from the Branch Manager
•Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory
•Maintain the service and appearance of truck
•Perform any other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
•Forklift experience preferred but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Driver's license Class (B) Safe driving record

As far as an hourly rate, based on experience and the individual candidate, we would target a starting range of $18-$22/hour.
