We are a regional flatbed company based in Portsmouth, NH currently looking for local and regional flatbed drivers.
Our drivers haul building materials for US Gypsum.
The loads are pre-tarped and pre-loaded about 95% of the time with a majority of the loads being drop and hook.
You are out 2 – 4 nights a week and home every weekend. Our drivers are paid per mile plus accessorial pay.
Please note, we do not require flatbed experience. We offer paid training at our terminal in Portsmouth.
If you speak with any drivers looking for employment, please pass this information along. We do require a year of Class A driving but if they attended CDL school and have six months of driving we may be able to consider them.
Portsmouth Company Driver:
- $.50 cpm for all miles
- Accessorial pay for a lot of other things
- Average weekly gross $1,200 - $1,500
- Sign on bonus of $1,500. It is paid out in 4 installments. $250 in the first paycheck and after 3 months. The other two payments are $500 and after 6 months and a year.
- $15 stop-off pay on multiple stop loads (+ between-stop mileage).
- Out 2-4 nights a week and home weekends
- Operating within ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT (2,500 – 3,000 miles / week)
- Premier benefits including medical and 401k
- Orientation and training held in Portsmouth, NH.
Drivers haul primarily building materials for Gypsum.
