Job Scope   

This position provides hands on services to current and new Nalco Water customers in the Service Center geography and reports to the Distribution Manager.  Delivery driving and product handling are the primary responsibilities of this position.  Our drivers provide portable exchange tanks and consumables to a range of commercial and industrial customers.   

Key Responsibilities

·         Ensures safe execution and delivery of all service and operations

·         Establish daily route based upon schedule and call center assignments

·         Be responsible and perform services according to the Nalco Standard

·         Move portable exchange tanks from delivery trucks to customer sites, delivery trucks to the regeneration pad via transfer equipment

·         Prepare loading/portable exchange tank load log for delivery trucks for next day

·         Be the customer facing ambassador for the Company and professionally communicate with our customers, sales representatives and corporate staff by phone, e-mail, and in person

·         Services may have to be delivered beyond normal business hours

·         Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of all DI equipment

·         Connection of equipment, QC and record keeping tasks

·         Minimal Repair Services - Responsible for the on-demand repair of customer water systems and troubleshooting of equipment

·         Administration – complete required daily, weekly and monthly reports

·         Other assignments as set forth by the Distribution Manager

 

Minimum Qualifications  

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Must have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

·         Acceptable motor vehicle record

·         Must be able to lift 80 lbs

·         Understanding of water, piping and other mechanical equipment experience

·         Be able to work independently and successfully without regular supervision.

·         Must have a strong mechanical aptitude

·         Ability to perform some physically demanding activities at the plant site

Preferred Qualifications

·         Trade certification

·         Previous safety and/or hazmat training

·         Dynamic and passionate with a strong teamwork mentality
