NOW HIRING DELIVERY DRIVER!  Will help to obtain Hoisting License

We have two delivery boom trucks with cranes, one is a standard transmission and the other is an auto transmission. The truck this new driver would be driving is primarily the auto transmission. On some rare occasion it might be possible we would ask them to drive the standard but very very rare.

 

DUTIES:

·         Communicate frequently & efficiently with dispatcher.

·         Deliver, unload & set concrete products and accessories to customers on job sites, safely using a boom truck.

·         Responsible for strapping and securing loads on trucks.

·         Responsible for daily inspections & cleanliness in and outside of trucks and cranes- report a maintenance problem immediately.

·         Maintain professional conduct while out on job sites with customers.

·         Assist with maintenance duties around our shop if needed.

REQUIREMENTS: (Concrete Precast Manufacturing experience is a plus but not needed)

• Must obtain a current CDL Class A or B Driver's License
• Must obtain a current 1B Hoisting License
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• A good attitude and the ability to work well with others is a must.
• Significant amount of walking, balancing, standing, turning, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 35-50+ lbs.
• Must be physically capable of strapping/unstrapping load on flatbed trucks and driving trucks for a sustained period of 6-8 hours per day.
• Must understand that this is outdoor work, Monday through Friday, with some work maybe required including Saturdays.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:**

• Required to wear a hard hat / safety vest (provided by us) & steel-toed boots while loading/unloading trucks in our yard and in the field.
