We have an opportunity for a Class B night shift driver out of our Warwick, RI location. This is a full time position with benefits.
General Summary: The Driver is responsible for transporting fuels to various customer sites, loading and unloading bulk fuels, and completing assigned paperwork. The driver must keep the truck properly maintained and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company and safety policies, procedures and practices.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Ensures truck is loaded properly with correct fuels for each drop location at designated rack location.
- Delivers products in correct quantities as instructed by dispatcher.
- Completes work as assigned by dispatch in a safe and efficient manner.
- Completes and processes various documents including Bills of Lading (BOL) inventory, drivers logs, pre and post trip reports, and fuel ticket copies.
- Complies with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies, procedures, practices, safety rules and regulations.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Posses a CDL A or B license
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Requred
- Current medical card
- Must possess a TWIC card
- Minimum of two (2) year experience driving a large truck
- High School diploma or equivalent
